Summer Surprise

Back at the beginning of Summer, Brandon and I planned a little surprise for the kids.  Dylan had been asking for a basketball goal of his own for some time.  Our neighbor across the street had a goal that he used pretty frequently - but it is was out in the road - which made me a nervous wreck - so he wasn't allowed to play with it unless someone was out there with him at all times.  SO... we bought him a goal of his own sort of as a end of the school year present - after all he did make it through his first year of school with flying colors. :)

So, Brandon stayed up late one night in the garage putting it together - while I distracted the kids inside (that is until their bedtime).  Then the next day we told them we had a surprise for them, and we made them wait by the door while we got the video camera in place.  Dylan was thrilled to find that he had a basketball goal of his very own in the driveway, and Avery had her own little pink basketball goal just in her size too!
